The short version. DealNama keeps everything on your phone. It does not have permission to use the internet at all, so it cannot send your records anywhere even if it wanted to. We do not receive your clients' names, their CNIC numbers, photographs of their ID cards, your documents, or anything else — we have no server for them to go to.
The only time information leaves your phone is when you send it: when you share a PDF on WhatsApp, print it, or export a backup file.
You type this information in yourself, and it stays in the app's own private storage area on the handset. No other app on your phone can read it.
| Your business | Dealer name, agency name, phone, address, NTN, and a logo image you choose — these print on your letterhead. |
|---|---|
| Clients | Name, CNIC number, phone, address, role (buyer / seller / agent), your notes, and — if you add them — photographs of the front and back of the CNIC. |
| Documents | Every field you enter on a Token, Bayana, Sale Agreement, File Transfer, Installment Receipt, Handover Letter, Rent Agreement or Commission Receipt, plus the PDF files the app generates and any signatures captured on screen. |
| Your books | Deals, reminders, commission entries, and your plot/file inventory (society, plot and block numbers, size, asking price, owner name and phone, notes). |
| App settings | Language, your Marla standard, whether the trial has started, your activation code and its expiry date, and — if you set one — your app PIN, stored only as a salted SHA-256 hash and never in readable form. |
INTERNET permission. That is not a promise about our intentions — it is a
restriction enforced by Android itself. The app is technically incapable of making a network
connection.DealNama is a tool for producing documents you intend to give to other people. When you use those features, the file goes wherever you send it, and this policy no longer governs it:
| Notifications | To show the payment and deadline reminders you create. |
|---|---|
| Run at startup | So reminders you already set survive a phone restart. It does nothing else. |
| Vibrate | So a reminder can be felt as well as seen. |
Those are the only three. DealNama does not request the internet, your location, your camera, your contacts, your call logs, your microphone, or access to your wider file storage. When you attach a logo or a CNIC photograph, Android's own picker hands the app that one image and nothing more.
Because DealNama is sold by activation code rather than through an in-app purchase, the app shows
a short Device ID (for example 7K4M-92XR) that you read out to whoever
you bought your code from.
That ID is a random number the app generates on your phone the first time it runs. It is not your IMEI, not your Android ID, not an advertising identifier, and not derived from any hardware detail. It cannot be traced back to you or your handset by anyone, including us. Checking an activation code happens entirely on the phone; nothing is sent anywhere to verify it.
Android normally copies an app's data to the user's Google Drive automatically. DealNama turns this off, so your client records and CNIC photographs are not included in Google account backups.
Transferring directly to a new phone during Android's device-to-device setup is still allowed, because that is a local copy between two handsets you own and does not involve any server. If you would rather move your data deliberately, use the app's own Backup & Restore instead.
Your records stay on your phone for as long as you keep them there. You are in control:
There is no "delete my account" request to make, because there is no account and no copy of your data anywhere but your own phone. ⚠️ For the same reason, if you lose or wipe the phone without an exported backup, the records cannot be recovered — not by us, not by anyone.
DealNama helps you keep the records a property dealer is expected to hold, including customer due-diligence records under Pakistan's AML/CFT obligations for DNFBPs. The people whose CNIC numbers and photographs you store are your clients, not ours. You remain responsible for handling their information lawfully and for keeping your phone secure. Setting the app's PIN lock is a sensible first step.
DealNama is a business tool for property dealers. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly hold any information about them.
If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, this page will be updated and the effective date at the top changed with it. Because the app has no way to contact us, please check this page after a significant update.
